- Words - Wild blueberries 2 pints & 1 handful; Raspberries 3 pints; Blackberries 1 pint; Brown sugar 1 cup packed + some tablespoons for sprinkling (or to flavour); To do - stir all above together in a large Ceramic bowl using a wooden spoon; Drain off juice and let this sit while you make your pie crust; Make the bottom crust extra large as this is a very deep dish pie; Set oven for 450; Sprinkle a few tablespoons of brown sugar on the bottom crust, pour in berries, sprinkle more sugar, add top; This pie will be heaped with berries, be prepared for run off juice in the over; Bake 10 min at 450; 50-60 min at 350; The steaming results: Summer in a pan!
